It's been a few years but I decided I wanted to start posting here again. I do some on my facebook page but here is where I want to share more of my cards.
While this isn't a finished card, I wanted to share a bit about the process of the card below. I cut my white panel at 5 x 3.5 and then cut my crumb cake (light tan) at 5.5 x 1.75. I placed that piece on the white panel where I wanted it to eventually be and then I traced the top of it with a light pencil line. I moved it up around .25 of an inch and traced the bottom line. This gave me a guide line for my stamping. I stared with the darkest colors (pecan pie, crushed curry, cajun craze and then finished with old olive and crumb cake). Each of these was stamped with the second or even third generation as I wanted muted colors. I made sure to stamp out to beyond the edges on both the top and bottom and just had fun getting inky and stamping randomly. The top panel above shows my first generation stamps. All of these cards were created with Stampin' Up Gathering Together Suite Collection. This paper and the stamp set with the dies are beautiful. Make sure you find me, Leesa Bartu, and choose me as your demonstrator if making a purchase!
